Both Ends of the Brush 001: Piper Thin canvas

This is 001. The first painting in Both Ends of the Brush, and it's Piper. Piper's been at the rescue longer than any other dog we have right now. She's had one TPLO surgery already, with a second still ahead of her, and for the first two days after that surgery she couldn't stand on her own at all. I carried her outside just so she could go to the bathroom. I painted this sitting on the floor next to her during that recovery, because it was the one thing I could still give the rescue when I couldn't be anywhere else. This is a gallery-wrapped canvas print, thin profile, ready to hang as-is with no frame needed. Every print sold goes straight toward her care. • 0.75″ (19.05 mm) thick canvas • Canvas fabric weight: 10.15 +/- 0.74 oz/yd² (344 g/m² +/- 25g/m²) • Wall mounts attached • Rubber pads on the back to avoid damage • Slimmer than regular canvases
