Both Ends of the Brush
Creating a community of kindness where healing happens on both ends of the leash.
Why This Exists
This whole thing started because Piper needed two surgeries, back to back, completely out of nowhere, and Legacy Paws doesn't have steady funding yet to cover something like that. I had to figure out fast how to raise the money.
But painting itself isn't new to me. I've painted my whole life... it's been my coping skill and my joy since long before the rescue ever existed. I've hosted painting nights at my own house for years. And I already paint pets for people after they lose one, for friends, for family, because I know what that grief looks like and I wanted to give it somewhere to go.
So Both Ends of the Brush isn't something I invented for a fundraiser. It's the first time I'm opening up something I already do to the whole community, and using it to help the dogs at the same time.

A memorial. A portrait. Something only you would think to ask for. These are a few pieces painted for people who trusted me with their story.
