A Different Way to Rescue.
Because sometimes the best way to save a dog is to keep them from needing rescue in the first place.
At Legacy Paws Rescue, we look at both ends of the leash.
Sometimes that means helping a family work through a challenge so they and their dog can stay together.
Sometimes it means helping an owner safely rehome a dog when staying together isn't possible. And sometimes it means stepping in to rescue a dog who has nowhere else to go.
We don't rush dogs into homes just to call it a success. We get to know the dog, understand the people, and work toward a match that has a real chance of lasting.
Every dog deserves more than a way out. Every person deserves support without judgment.
That's rescue that begins before the surrender, continues through the hard parts, and doesn't stop at adoption.
